RPG Musings has some excellent advice on running a party when all the odds are against you.
Since nothing beats face-to-face roleplaying by a group of guys sharing the same table, I'm very glad that despite of careers, spouses etc. we have gathered a new group.
A thing I really like in the post and that could be incorporated in any running campaign is the use of a wiki to track information. I would really like to try this for the (or a) comming campaign.

New 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons campaign
October 8th 2010 will be the date that, after 10 years of playing 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons, we will regress to playing 2nd edition.
So.... we'll be moving from this:
to this:
We are currently building the party. We have 4 players and 1 DM and are hoping to reach 6 steady players. We are planning to run the Night Below campaign:
In celebration of this joyfull fact I decided to start a blog on our campaign. In addition I will blog on other classic roleplaying games, topics, fun stuff etc.
